Viking vocations

When the Vikings first appeared they mainly were

.Farmers

.Explorers

.Hunters

.Warriors

Then as their settlement grew their jobs became more specialized, their jobs were like blacksmiths, jewellers, fabric makers and many more.

The Viking Blacksmiths

Viking farmers

The blacksmith was a central figure in Viking age society. For this reason he can be encountered every day, making new tools and weapons either by order or perhaps with the intention of being put to sale from his store.

Most Viking farmers raised enough crops and animals to sustain everyone who lived on the farm.
